1. Costa Blanca elopement.

If you’re looking for epic beaches, without a doubt, Alicante Province it really is one of the best places to elope in Spain!

Alicante is one of the most visited locations in Spain and it can get pretty busy in the summer months. However, with a bit of local knowledge it’s easy to find quiet locations away from the popular tourist hotspots.

Another cool thing about Alicante is that the majority of the locations are around 5-10 minutes from road access.

How to get to Alicante
Alicante has its own airport and it’s just 2h away from Valencia. Some of the most beautiful locations, as Jávea, are in between both cities.

2. Balearic Islands

There really is no other place like the clear water Balearic Islands. It’s one of the most famous locations in the world and it’s not hard to see why. It’s one of the best places to elope in Spain, if not the world!

During summer it’s a popular spot, and even though Formentera is not the most know island, it’s the most beautiful one without doubts.

Formentera is known for its unique small bays formations, where you feel you are in a novel or movie. It can get busy during the daytime however if you plan your elopement for the evening you can beat the crowds.

4. Barcelona Elopement

One of the best places to elope in Spain, or should we say best cities!
We can honestly say that it is one of the most beautiful and romantic cities we’ve ever experienced. The Gothic Quarter of Barcelona is absolutely amazing and Gaudi’s buildings all over the city are enchanting. It’s absolutely bursting with culture and history!

Speaking of the Gothic Quarter, one can easily get lost in the cobble-stoned streets and old steps of the Old Town and it’s a must see if you’re eloping in Barcelona. There’s also a great choice of coffee shops, pubs and places to grab a bite to eat while you’re out exploring the city on your wedding day.

5. Asturias Elopement

Asturias has one of the biggests national parks in Spain. Located in the north of Spain, it’s well-known for it’s mountains, forests, lakes, raw beaches, seafood and cyder distilleries.

If you’re wondering where to elope in Spain then definitely add Picos de Europa and the surrounding area to your list.
Picos de Europa is surrounded by miles of luscious forest and of course the lakes which are absolutely stunning.
